Mrs. Padmavathi aged 45 years was suffering from Asthma since she was 15 years of age. She had visited multiple doctors at different centres and tried various treatments including oral steroids, inhalers, daily nebulizers and medicines to get rid of Asthma in last 30 years, but all went in vain and even her asthma control kept deteriorating. Infact she was so sick that she had to get admitted multiple times for the same asthma exacerbation. After discussing various available options for asthma treatment, Doctor and patient agreed to go for one of the latest technology to treat asthma which is Bronchial Thermoplasty. Patient had undergone 3 sittings spaced around 3-4 weeks apart, and now even after 6 months she is is doing well. Patient thanks doctor, Yashoda Hospitals staff and management for her asthma treatment.
