COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions:

Can a Covid positive patient take vaccine?

If a patient is having current COVID 19 infection defer vaccination until the person has completely recovered from acute illness and met criteria for them to discontinue isolation. However in patients with prior history of COVID 19 infection, administer vaccination regardless of history of prior symptomatic or asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection or to patients with prolonged post-COVID-19 symptoms.
