Tips to prevent heart diseases:

80 % of heart disease can be prevented if you follow these four things: 

  1. Quitting smoking 
  2. Stopping alcohol consumption
  3. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables.  According to guidelines, you should eat at least three to five servings of fruits and vegetables per day. 
  4. Doing exercise, particularly in the form of a brisk walk. Walking is advised for about 30-45 minutes per day, five to six days a week.
