Laparoscopic Ladd’s procedure is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat recurrent midgut volvulus, a condition that occurs when the intestine becomes twisted, leading to obstruction and potentially compromising blood flow. During the procedure, the surgeon makes several small incisions in the abdomen and inserts a laparoscope, which is a thin tube with a camera attached to it.
