Dr. Dharmesh Kapoor is a Consultant Hepatologist at Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad. He closely collaborates with the units at Somajiguda and Malakpet.
Dr. Kapoor is a regular faculty at the annual scientific meetings of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG), Indian Association for the Study of Liver (INASL) and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) where he has delivered more than 200 lectures on a wide range of topics for the past many years. He has been at the helm of DNB training program for fellowship in GI/Hepatology since 2009.
With an active participation in clinical and bench research, he has conducted numerous national surveys, pilot studies as well as randomized controlled trials till date. He has showcased his independent as well as collaborative research through presentations at conferences as well as publications in peer-reviewed journals.
He has co-authored the Indian Association for the Study of Liver (INASL) guidelines on acute liver failure, nutrition in chronic liver disease and management of chronic hepatitis B and C. He has also contributed to the APASL guidelines on management of acute chronic liver failure.
