Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy A is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon & Clinical Director at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City.

He received his Masters in Orthopaedics from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad and received additional surgical training in the United Kingdom (UK). He successfully completed a structured six-year training programme in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery, including Hip and Knee Joint Replacements, Fracture Management, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Oncology, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Spine Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Shoulder Surgery, and was awarded a certificate of completion of training in the UK.

He later specialised in Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Surgery for nearly two years, working in some of the most prestigious and world-renowned hand surgery units (Pulvertaft Hand Surgery Unit, Derby, UK). He received fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield and the University Hospitals of Coventry in the United Kingdom. He was a visiting fellow at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, and Florida Orthopaedic Hospitals in the United States (awarded by the British Shoulder and Elbow Society). He received his training from some of the world’s foremost experts in elbow and hand surgery.

Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy A is one of India’s few distinguished orthopaedic surgeons who has completed formal training in both India and the United Kingdom, as well as one of the very few who has completed comprehensive fellowship training in Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Surgery. He has been an invited speaker at various meetings in India, has been a faculty member at various international and national-level conferences, and has lectured on various aspects of Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Surgery to practising orthopaedic surgeons.

He has also published in international journals and has written chapters in textbooks of Orthopaedics and a text book of Elbow Surgery. He has been a faculty member and trainer for Shoulder and Elbow Joint Replacements, as well as Wrist and Shoulder Arthroscopy, both nationally and internationally.
