• Oesophagectomy: It is the surgical removal of a part of the entire esophagus.

• Ileal Pouch Anal Anastomosis: It is a surgical procedure to restore gastrointestinal continuity after the colon and rectum have been removed surgically. It is performed in patients suffering from diseases such as pancreatic resections, ulcerative colitis, Whipple’s procedure.
