Yashoda Hospitals Receives International Recognition in Pulmonology & Bronchoscopy

Yashoda Hospital Pulmonologist Dr. Hari Kishan Gonuguntla was appointed as national delegate at European Association for Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology.

Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad is bestowed with 2 out of the 3 awards for the ‘BEST IMAGE 2021’ contest, conducted by the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP).

The Department of Interventional Pulmonology, led by Dr. Hari Kishan Gonuguntla (Lead, Interventional Pulmonary Medicine) along with his distinguished team Dr. Samia Rasheed (Presenter and Associate Consultant), Dr. Varun Kandukuri (Fellow and Associate Consultant), Dr. Varun M.D, Dr. Tiyagesh Ganapathy (Interventional Pulmonary Fellows) is facilitated with this distinct award.

This event was an annual contest organised by WABIP where medical departments from all over the world send their images while matching the criteria of the contest. All selected images get published on their Newsletters, Social media platforms of WABIP while being showcased at their 2022 WCBIP Congress in Marseille, France.

This is yet another feather for the department of Interventional Pulmonology, Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad. Such an accolade encourages the team to constantly strive and continue providing world class medical services.
