Testimonial by Mr. Thomas Samwel Nikingo

Unstable angina is a condition where the heart muscle doesn’t receive enough blood flow, often a warning sign of an impending heart attack. It is caused by plaque buildup in the coronary arteries, blood clots, anemia, or certain heart valve problems. Symptoms include chest pain, shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, dizziness, and anxiety. Diagnosis involves medical history, physical examination, and tests like electrocardiograms, blood tests, stress tests, and coronary angiography. AV block is a heart rhythm disorder where electrical signals are delayed or blocked, leading to slow or irregular heartbeats. Treatment depends on the severity of the block and symptoms.

Kidney failure is a condition where the kidneys cannot filter waste products from the blood, requiring a transplant. Causes include diabetes, high blood pressure, glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, and others. Symptoms include fatigue, swelling, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, changes in urination, itching, muscle cramps, and cognitive problems. Diagnosis involves blood tests, urine tests, and imaging studies like ultrasound or CT scans. Robotic live kidney transplant is a minimally invasive surgical option for end-stage kidney failure patients. It involves making smaller incisions using a robotic system with specialized instruments and a camera, resulting in less pain, smaller scars, reduced blood loss, and faster recovery compared to traditional open surgery. The kidney is removed from a living donor, and robotic surgery is beneficial for the donor, making it a viable option for those with kidney failure.

Mr. Thomas Samwel Nikingo from Tanzania successfully received treatment for Unstable Angina, AV Block and also underwent Robotic Live Kidney Transplant at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad, under the supervision of Dr. Pramod Kumar K, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist & Dr. Arun Kumar Ponna, Consultant Nephrologist.
