Fasciotomy is a surgical procedure in which the fascia, a layer of connective tissue that surrounds muscles and other structures, is cut to relieve tension and pressure. Skin grafting is a surgical procedure in which skin is removed from one area of the body (the donor site) and transplanted to another area (the recipient site) to cover a wound or burn.
