How is ureteric reimplantation surgery performed?
Ureteric reimplantation surgery is a treatment used to correct urinary tract blockages. Urosurgeons perform the surgery by reattaching the ureter to the bladder.
They do it by making an incision in the lower abdomen and detaching the ureter from where it enters the bladder. The ureter is then cut and attached to the bladder in a different location. The incision is then closed, and the surgery is complete.
