What is ORIF Surgery?
Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is a type of surgery used to stabilise and heal a broken bone. In an open reduction, orthopedic surgeons realign the bone fragments surgically to restore their proper alignment. Closed reduction involves manually manipulating the bones back into place without surgical exposure.
