About Event

On July 26 & 27, 2025, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, in association with TASG, hosted the GI-FOCUS: Chapter 1 – Upper GI Conference. This academic initiative explored the A to Z of esophageal and gastric cancers, combining theoretical insights with real-world clinical applications.

The event featured unedited surgery videos, masterclasses on critical steps such as nerve-sparing lymphadenectomy and reconstruction, and updates on systemic therapies, biomarkers, and diagnostics. With Gen Next speakers mentored by experts and interactive breakout sessions, GI-FOCUS: Chapter 1 – Upper GI created a unique platform for residents, surgeons, and oncologists to engage, learn, and lead in advancing GI cancer care.
