Dr. Lokesh Lingappa is a Clinical Director & Lead Consultant – Child & Adolescent Neurologist, Division of Pediatric Neurosciences at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad.

Dr. Lokesh Lingappa has many national and international publications and presentations to his credit. He has authored a few chapters in books released by Indian Academy of Pediatrics. He has three best poster awards at national and international level conferences.

Dr Lokesh Lingappa is recognised as one of the best paediatric neurologists, noted for his pioneering contribution to the understanding of childhood stroke. He has identified and described a novel mechanism termed mineralising angiopathy with infantile basal ganglia stroke following minor trauma, a first-of-its-kind discovery globally. This advancement has significantly enhanced clinical insights into the diagnosis and management of paediatric stroke.

He is actively involved in educating pediatricians and primary care teams about essentials of management of common neurological problems.
