  • Do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours before the investigation.
  • Avoid smoking, tobacco, caffeine, tea, coffee, or energy drinks for at least 12–24 hours before the scan.
  • Carry a valid government ID proof and all previous medical records, prescriptions, ECGs, echo reports, blood tests, or angiography reports if available.
  • Inform the doctor if you are taking medicines such as metformin, blood thinners, or any medications related to dye contrast.
  • Drink adequate water before and after the procedure unless specifically restricted by your doctor, as it helps flush out the contrast dye safely.
