Cancer Screening for Women: Age-Wise Guide

Ages 21–29
  • Cervical Cancer: Pap test every 3 years starting at age 21. HPV testing is typically done only if Pap results are abnormal.
  • Breast Cancer: Clinical breast exam if recommended by a healthcare provider. Stay breast self-aware and report any changes.
  • Skin Cancer: Perform self-checks; dermatology visits if high-risk (e.g., fair skin, family history).
Ages 30–39
  • Cervical Cancer: Pap test + HPV test every 5 years, or Pap test alone every 3 years.
