About the Doctor

Dr. Shashikanth Tumma is a Consultant Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Malakpet, with over 16 years of experience. He received his training in Plastic Surgery at Hyderabad’s Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. He worked as a Senior Resident in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at NIMS in 2006 and has been working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Yashoda Hospital in Malakpet since 2007.

A specialist in microvascular surgery, he has used microvascular free tissue transfers to reconstruct complex post-oncological defects and reimplant numerous amputated fingers as well as many complex traumatic injuries to the upper and lower limbs. He has extensive experience in treating craniomaxillofacial injuries and is skilled in reconstructing post-burn deformities.

  1. Online consultations will take place between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm only.
  2. To confirm the online consultation with your Doctor make a payment of Rs. 1200 in the payment section.
  3. Consultation fees remain same for both new and review doctor consultations
  4. On successful payment, a mail/message will be sent to you with the details provided by you.
  5. Our representative will get in touch with you to explain the process and confirm the time slot.
  6. On confirmation, you will receive a meeting link for a video consultation with our doctor.
  7. Join the video session through the link sent to you via SMS & on Whatsapp
  8. If You are an Android user join the session using Google chrome browser. If you are an IOS user use Safari browser
  9. Click on the link to start your consultation at the confirmed appointment time.
  10. Please allow the camera and microphone to join the session
  11. You can upload the patient reports and old prescriptions before joining the session

  14. Refund/Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: In case of non-confirmation of the appointment by a specialist doctor/refund/cancellation/rescheduling of the online doctor appointment due to any reasons, please email us at telehealth@yashodamail.com. Our representative will contact you.
  15. Please note that your payment is specific to this appointment slot only, any change later in the chosen slot or doctor will be treated as a fresh appointment and your previous appointment will be cancelled and refunded.
  16. Due to unavoidable circumstances, your booked slot might get cancelled or rescheduled. You will be informed about the same, as early as we can and the amount paid against the appointment will be refunded.
  17. In a scenario, where the current appointment slot with a doctor is rescheduled either by the hospital or the individual, the original appointment will be cancelled and the payment amount will be refunded. You will pay for the rescheduled appointment during your hospital visit.
  18. This appointment is for the selected patient only and is not transferable
