Dr. Navya KC is a Consultant Fetal Medicine at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City.
She completed her MBBS from Government Chengalpattu Medical College in Tamil Nadu, where she ranked first (gold medalist) in Obstetrics and Gynecology in her final year of MBBS. Her pursuit of excellence led her to obtain an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh, where she topped her batch.
She further honed her skills by completing an FMF-UK accredited Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at the Apollo Center for Fetal Medicine (ACFM) in New Delhi. Following this, she pursued an “Advanced Course in Fetal Medicine” at the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) in London. She specializes in various aspects of Fetal Medicine, including First Trimester Screening, Preeclampsia Screening, Aneuploidy Screening, Cervical Screening, Anomaly Scans, Fetal Dopplers, Fetal Echocardiography, and Fetal Interventions (CVS, Amniocentesis, Intra-uterine Transfusions, Fetal Shunting Procedures, and Fetal Endoscopic Procedures).
She also completed specialist certifications in Advanced Fetal Neuro-sonography (under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karina Hartz from Israel) in 2019 and Advanced Fetal Echocardiography (under ISUOG) in 2020. Her clinical interests encompass Aneuploidy Screening, Preeclampsia, Fetal Growth Restriction, Multiple Pregnancies, Genetics, and Fetal Interventions.
Dr. Navya KC is an active member of prestigious medical organizations, including the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF UK), ISUOG, FMFI, ISOPARB, SFM India, and FOGSI. She is a faculty speaker at various medical organizations, where she shares her knowledge and insights with fellow professionals.
