About the Doctor
Dr. K S Kiran is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad. He received his medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal and his M.S. in General Surgery from Osmania University.
He worked as a surgeon for ESIC (Employee State Insurance Corporation) for two years after completing his M.S. in general surgery, and he was also a consultant at Image and Archana Hospitals. With two years of surgical experience, he earned his M.C.H. in Neurosurgery from Osmania University and worked as a senior consultant at MGM Hospital in Warangal. Later, Dr. Kiran accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences.
He completed his fellowship at Osaka University in Japan under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ohata. He also attended a spine workshop at Bangalore’s Ramaya Institute and a transforaminal endoscopic discectomy workshop in Dehradun.
Dr. K S Kiran is a disciplined and confident surgeon with extensive hospital and clinical experience. He was involved in more than 100 vascular and paediatric surgeries, as well as 150 skull base surgeries. He specialises in spine surgery, endoscopic discectomy, and skull base surgery, and he has published papers on brain abscesses and intracranial haemorrhages.
