He has done his post graduation as well as superspecialization training in neurointervention and interventional radiology at post graduate institute of medical education and research(PGIMER), Chandigarh. With experience of more than 300 cases of advanced intracranial neurointerventions and more than 2000 cases of body vascular interventions, he has successfully performed wide range of complex vascular interventions including flow diverter placement for intracranial aneurysms, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPSS) and aortic stent graft placement.

Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) is a minimally invasive endovenous procedure that involves the creation of a low-resistance channel between the hepatic vein and the part of the portal vein within the liver.
Technological advances like embolization techniques now provide alternative ways to a surgical procedure with comparable results. When diagnosed with a varicocele, embolization is a good alternative to surgery for the right candidate.
